Photos Of 18-Storey Building Abandoned By Late Abacha That Has Turned To Lagos Criminal Hideouts

- The 18 Storey building was among his establishments before his death.
The late former Leader, Sani Abacha has an abandoned eighteen Storey building in Lagos, which Nigerian Government didn’t seize, as they are recovering some of his loot.
The building rests on two acres of land located at Iyana Era, along Badagry Expressway, Ijanikin Lagos State. It is alleged that the late former Head of State, under his military Regime started the building but left it halfway because of his death.
Since the death of the General, no Government official, both State or Federal has done anything to revive or complete the building.
In 2012, a Security man, Moshood Afolabi was found dead in that 18 Storey building after he was declared missing by the Family, the Family made reports of his mysterious disappearance to a Local Government development Council after four days waiting for him to return from his usual night watch.
The remains of Afolabi was later found in the uncompleted and abandoned building in Oto-Awori after four days of fruitless efforts by members of his family to locate his whereabouts.
The leader of the Vigilante group where he works alerted both the Police and other security agencies, they started investigating and combing the area.
And after Investigation, the Police later revealed that the abandoned building has been a notorious hideout for Criminals in the area.
Residents of the area who pleaded not to be named for fear of their lives, hinted that criminals normally share their loot inside the uncompleted building.
The place is said to be a Haven for Armed Robbers, Ritualists and Cult activities.
Then in 2012, an officer that was attached to the Community Police was found dead in that same uncompleted abandoned building.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , The place was said to be hideouts for Criminals who steal and terrorize their area. They go in there to share the loot stolen from the people around the area.
