A Facebook user named Zion Godwin took to the same platform to share photos of a strange fish caught in his area.
The young man gave the name of the place as Oyorokoto fishing settlement in Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers state.
Godwin wrote “A fisherman caught this big fish this morning”.
The fish was several meters long and had to be pulled to the shore by many hands.
From the photos, the strange water creature had a pointy nose.
They lifted it on to a truck, I guess to make the burden of transporting the weighty creature easier.”
Living along the coastline of the Atlantic ocean, the people of Oyorokoto region are noted for their fishing skills.
The place is recognised as the largest fishing port in West Africa, and what would become of the fish is unknown, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
However, looking at the happy faces of the men and the kids, it seems like they’ll make a good meal out of it.
