Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat, Obasa, and other dignitaries have marked 61st Independence Day at Agege Stadium, Lagos State.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, led the celebration of the 61st independence anniversary at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a motorcade, paraded the Agege Stadium to commemorate the 61st Independence Day on Friday.
The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa were also present at the event.
Other dignitaries at the event include members of the House of Representatives, Hon. James Faleke (Ikeja Federal Constituency), and Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye (Kosofe Federal Constituency), Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Prince Olanrewaju Elegushi; Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola; Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Jaji; and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, amongst others.
