Eko Hot Blog reports that supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday stormed the Lagos State University (LASU), Epe Campus, to seek the support of workers, students, and residents for the party’s candidate.
The candidates include Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; lawmaker representing Epe Constituency I at the Lagos House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Tobun; and lawmaker representing Epe Constituency II at the Lagos House of Assembly, Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, popularly known as Sketel.
The door-to-door campaign, which commenced at 10am on Tuesday, March 14, involved the mobilisation of academic and non-academic staff of the university.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that some members of the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Epe, also joined the rally.
The APC supporters moved to various offices, students’ hostels and residential areas to seek support for their preferred candidates.
Professor Esther Okubena-Dipeolu of the Department of Agriculture was prominent among the supporters.
She urged Epe residents to reward the accomplishments of the governor and lawmakers with another term.
According to the professor of agriculture, the APC candidates are tested and trusted, making them the most qualified to return to their jobs.
