Sanwo-Olu Signs Partnership With Afrexim And Access Banks. Here’s What Lagosians Should Expect

Eko Hot Blog reports that Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has signed a partnership with African Export-Import (Afrexim) and Access Banks.

The partnership was signed at the 2nd Africaribbean Trade and Investment Forum in Georgetown, Guyana, on Tuesday, 31 October, 2023.

Eko Hot Blog gathered that the partnership, worth $1.352 billion, was aimed at helping Lagos State secure investments in infrastructural business projects such as the Fourth Mainland Bridge, Omu Creek Project, and the 2nd Phase of the LRMT Blue Line from Mile 2 to Okokomaiko.

The President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Afeximbank, Prof. Benedict Oramah, and the Non-Executive Director, Access Bank Plc, Mr. Herbert Wigwe, signed the partnership on behalf of their banks.

In a social media post, Sanwo-Olu noted that his administration is committed to creating a better future for the state.
