The investment initiative, which was unveiled by President Bola Tinubu, had in attendance major national and international stakeholders in the health sector.
Delivering his address, Dr. Alausa underscored the importance of the gathering, emphasizing that collective efforts from both local and international stakeholders are essential.
The minister urged a concerted commitment to ensuring that the investments channelled into the health sector yield tangible results, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services for the Nigerian populace.

It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you all to this event as we commemorate the World Universal Health Coverage Day which marks a major milestone for the Health Sector of Nigeria.
As we unite in this celebration, we stand shoulder to shoulder with the global community, reaffirming our commitment to ensuring health for all. It is with great privilege that we host this event, graced by the presence of our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the DG of WHO and other global health leaders — all integral in our collective journey towards accessible, resilient healthcare systems.”
