PHOTOS: Villagers Attend Boko Haram Events, As Militant Group Appeal For More Support
- The internet is on frenzy, following viral pictures of ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists organizing Ramadan preaching session in the northern part of Nigeria.
According to Aliyu Dahiru Aliyu, an Independent researcher with HumAngle and Co-founder of Wikipedia Hausa, he said that the insurgents were holding the preaching session in the North East, Nigeria.
This event is coming days after it was reported that the insurgents have taken control of several towns in Yobe State.

It was first reported that the jihad fighters invaded Geidam Local Government Area (LGA) of Yobe state and wreaked havoc there.
It was gathered that after the attack, the terrorists went on new recruitment drive and equally shared money to the residents.
Another Yobe town known as Kanamma, the headquarters of Yunusari Council was later attacked by the insurgents, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
According to reports, Kannamma, a border community with Niger, is the first Boko Haram base established in 2002, before Geidam’s recent attacks.
