Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Sweden for a two-day working visit focused on enhancing trade and bilateral relations between Nigeria and Sweden, according to his spokesman.
In a statement released Wednesday, Stanley Nkwocha announced that the Vice President was accompanied by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Bosun Tijani, and several heads of government agencies.

Nkwocha explained that the visit, initiated by President Bola Tinubu, will involve high-level discussions with top Swedish officials. The Vice President is also scheduled to meet with Crown Princess Victoria and the Swedish Prime Minister.
Key areas of collaboration that will be explored during the visit include ICT, digitalization, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining.
The statement concluded that the Vice President is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday.
