Pius Ikedia came to the limelight during the FIFA U-20 world cup where he showed his dexterity to the world and from there he became a popular name in the mouth of football loving Nigerians.

Pius Ikedia was born on the 11th July, 1980, he started his professional football in 1998 and subsequently moved to Ajax Amsterdam where he spent most of his years playing football.

He had 15 appearances for Nigeria and scored just 1, despite the limited time he had played for Nigeria, Pius Ikedia remains one of Nigeria top winger in history.

Pius Ikedia is known for his passion for the game of football, especially during his time in Ajax Amsterdam and on the various occasions he played for the national team.

Pius Ikedia resigned from international football in 2012 and the last thing held about him on issues related to football was in 2016 when he played with his former club, but collapsed on the pitch but thank God he didn’t die there after.
