EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, winner of the Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, has raised the alarm over death threats she has been receiving from unknown individuals since her recent ordeal of escaping poisoning.
Phyna had earlier shared her harrowing experience of escaping a poisoning attempt and also expressed sadness over the level of hatred she has faced since leaving the reality show.
In a tweet, the former BBN star shared the series of death threats she has been receiving from unknown individuals using fake social media accounts.
She apologized for her wrongdoings during and after the reality TV show and promised to cut down her excessive show-off online, while also expressing a desire to return to her old life before fame.
“At this point everybody who don’t like me wins, and I’m sorry you don’t like me, I hereby say I will no longer do too much and I will take a break to allow you and those you like to shine, just stop the death threats already, but the using fake account?” she tweeted.
She also added, “God of mercy, I thought BBN was just a game, I’m sorry if I have offended anyone while in the house and out. Please enough of the death threats behind fake accounts.”
Phyna’s experience has once again brought to the fore the issue of cyber-bullying and the need for internet safety. It is unclear whether she has reported the threats to relevant authorities.
