EKO HOT BLOG reports that One person was confirmed dead on Thursday in Quanpan Local Government Area of Plateau following a crisis that erupted in the area.
An 18-seater bus belonging to the Plateau State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists and another car were set ablaze during the incident.
It was learnt that some journalists who were inside the bus heading to Jos after a function in the council area however escaped unhurt alongside the Senator representing Plateau South, Nora Daduut, and others in her convoy.
A resident of Quanpan, Moses Dashe, confirmed the killing to The Press on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Quanpan Local Government Area of the state has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew in a bid to prevent the situation from escalating.
Gideon Dashe, the Secretary of the Council Area, issued a statement on Thursday night announcing the curfew.
