Plateau: Man Arrested With 260 Bullets, Magazines As Accomplices Flee
- Likita reportedly disclosed that his colleagues are on their way to Jos on motorcycles
A suspected arms smuggler has been apprehended in Nasarawa State.
The man simply identified as Likita was caught with 52 magazines and over 200 live ammunition.
A joint team of the Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) apprehended him at Alushi junction in Akwanga.

Likita reportedly disclosed that his colleagues are on their way to Jos on motorcycles.
The suspect is being detained at Akwanga Police Divisional headquarters while a statement is expected from the Divisional Police headquarters.
A convoy of buses was attacked at Rukuba Road in Jos North Local Government Area last Saturday where over twenty persons were killed and dozens wounded. The victims were said to be returning from Bauchi to Akure, the Ondo state capital.
