The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Plateau South senatorial by-election, Prof. Nora Daduut, says she is confident of winning the election slated for Oct. 31.
Daduut told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Jos that she had confidence that God, her party, the APC and the electorate would ensure her victory in the poll.

“As a family, we don’t want to stay apart because when you work together you achieve success.
“And the unity and solidarity we see in this party will bring us success; so, I have that confidence and I thank God,” she said.
The professor of French told NAN that she is mentally and physically ready for the rigours of politics.
She stated that her many years as a teacher had prepared her adequately for the task.
“I have been in the classroom for over 40 years and I don’t think politics is more rigorous than going into the classroom, teaching for hours, coming back to prepare lesson notes and conducting research,” she said.
She called on women to wake up and team up with her for women to be celebrated just the way they celebrate men.
According to her, if they fail to support her, it means they fail to promote the women folk.
