September: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton)
The striker’s 5 goals in the month helped Everton win their opening three games of the EPL season for the first time since 1993/94.
The 23-year-old won the award for the first time and is the first Everton player to claim the prize since Romelu Lukaku in March 2017.
October: Son Heung-min (Tottenham)
The winger scored in all three matches to end the month as the joint-leader in the race for the Golden Boot.
He is the first Spurs player to win the award since Lucas Moura in August 2018.
November and December: Bruno Fernandes (Man United)
The United star scored 4 goals in as many matches, netting twice and providing an assist in a fine performance.
For December, the midfielder has become the first player to win the award four times in a calendar year, having also done so in February, June and November 2020. He scored 3 goals and four assists in a complete month.
January and February: Ilkay Gundogan (Man City)
He has been rewarded for his brilliant performance in January after he scored five goals in the month and helped City to six successive wins on their way to the top of the EPL table.
For February, German is first City player to claim back-to-back award after an impressive form. The midfielder produced 4 goals and an assist in the month as he became the first German to win the accolade more than once.
March 2021: Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City)
The forward scored 5 goals in March to become the 4th Nigerian player to win the award, after Jay Jay Okocha, Peter Odemwingie and Odion Ighalo.
Iheanacho is also the first Leicester City player to claim the prize since Jamie Vardy in October 2019
