Adanma wrote: “With so much tears in my eyes, after so much pressure and expenses in April, I reached out to this beautiful soul, @uchenancy. She said, ‘Ada, don’t worry, I dey for you. Just let me know if there’s more to do, and I won’t abandon you.’ She spoke as if she was me, giving me reasons to stay alive and strong.

“It lifted my soul even though I was contemplating suicide at that time. I had lost interest in everything and just wanted to exit this world because it was indeed a very dark period for me. I had to stop breastfeeding in less than three months due to the sadness in my heart, the depression, calls, and harsh words from families of the deceased and online fans.”
Adanma also reflected on the dual impact of social media during this time. While her phone became her closest companion, it also exposed her to hurtful comments. Her mother stepped in to care for her baby, ensuring she didn’t breastfeed while overwhelmed with grief.

“To be sincere, I was online because my phone was the closest thing to me at that point. My mom took my child away so I wouldn’t feed or breastfeed with sadness. I only came online to cry away my pain from the hurtful words being thrown at me and to feel a little better from the love shown by some good friends and fans.”
Despite the hardships, Adanma expressed profound gratitude for Uche Nancy’s unwavering support. She praised Uche’s generosity and hard work, crediting her for helping her through the dark times.
“Whatever I did or posted then was a reflection of my mindset. Please say a kind prayer for this beautiful soul, @uchenancy. She didn’t just help me with significant financial support but also ensured I was okay till now. I can’t end my 2024 without appreciating you, my beautiful, hardworking woman. May God continue to bless you richly,” she concluded.
