A combined team of operatives from the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Command’s Special Squad and Taskforce, raided some blackspots at the Ebutte Meta area of Lagos on Wednesday.
No fewer than 144 male suspects were arrested in the midnight raid, according to Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi.
Adejobi disclosed that the operation followed intelligence and request for assistance from the neighbourhood to dislodge criminals hibernating in shanties in the area.
