- The Ondo State Police Command has arrested POS robbers in the state.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Ondo State Police Command has arrested four members of a gang, who specialises in robbing operators of Point Of Sale (POS) in the state.
The robbers were said to have been responsible for various attacks on POS at filling stations and killings in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
EKO HOT BLOG further gathered that the gang allegedly killed one Nofisat Adetutu Ibrahim, a POS operator at Oke-Ogba in Akure in 2020.

The police disclosed that the four suspects were arrested in different locations, including Ekiti State after extraordinary operations carried out by the Anti-Robbery Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) from Ondo Police Command.
The police further noted that the POS robbers had confessed to the killing of no fewer than six persons in Akure between 2019 and 2021.
