EKO HOT BLOG reports that the conductor and driver of a commercial bus connected to the killing of a cow in Agemowo, Badagry, Lagos have been detained by the Lagos State Police Command.
On Monday, it was alleged that two unidentified cattle herders killed a guy with a knife in retaliation for a cow that had been killed nearby.
Recall that the herders were crossing the expressway with their cattle when a commercial bus crushed the cow to death.
The two herders were detained by the police after the murder.
However, recent updates show that the cow’s owner, conductor, and vehicle’s driver have all been taken into custody.
Five people were in police arrest in connection with the murder, according to Benjamin Hudenyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police.
He said, “They are the driver of the vehicle, his conductor, two herders and the owner of the cow.
They are assisting us in the investigation because it is a comprehensive and holistic one. Remember, this is a murder case and we need to be very careful with the investigation.
