Police Discover Baby Factory In Lagos, Rescue Two Pregnant Ladies

The Lagos State Police Command has rescued two pregnant ladies at a baby factory discovered in the state.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the baby factory was discovered in the Isolo area of Lagos State.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, made the disclosure while parading suspects at the Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday.

Odumosu disclosed that the Command arrested a 60-year-old woman identified as Augustina Onyenwe for operating the baby factory in Lagos.

The police commissioner further stated that the suspect was arrested by police operatives following a tip-off

He added that two pregnant ladies were rescued at the baby factory following the arrest.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Onyenwe has been allegedly keeping the young pregnant ladies at the baby factory till they will deliver their babies.

“A police team acted on the information given and stormed to the address, where we rescued two heavily pregnant girls.

“The suspect has made a confessional statement to that effect,” Odumosu said.

The police commissioner further disclosed that the victims, aged 32 and 20 respectively, are in protective custody, noting that the suspect will soon be charged to court.
