Police operatives in Ogun State have shot dead another suspected kidnapper in Ilala forest around Imala, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun.

This came a day after the command said it killed two kidnappers in a gun duel that ensued behind the DS Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Itori on Sunday.

Ogun police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, told newsmen on Tuesday that one other suspected kidnapper was arrested inside the Imala forest.

According to Oyeyemi, policemen from Imala police station acted on a tip-off that six armed kidnappers were hiding in the forest.
