Police Neutralise Terrorists, Recover Rifle In Katsina

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Katsina State Police Command has killed two armed bandits, recovering one AK47 rifle and 150 rustled animals from the terrorists.

The state police spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, told newsmen that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Mallumfashi mobilized his operatives based on a distress call he received.

He said the bandits attacked the Gandu Karfi community where they abducted four women and went away with over 150 cattle.

According to him, the DPO, therefore, led a team of Policemen and ambushed the terrorists’ routes where they succeeded in killing one bandit, recovered one AK47 rifle, four rounds of ammunition, 80 cows and 70 sheep.

He further stated that in another development, the DPO on Tuesday led a team of Police to Kankara where they engaged another group of bandits, killed one of them and recovered a motorcycle in the operation.
