Police React To Terrorists Attack In Lagos Communities

The Lagos State Police Command has said reports of imminent attack in Lagos communities is false

 

EKO HOT BLOG reports that nothing will be left to chance, according to the Lagos State Police Command, in protecting the state from reported impending terrorist assaults on towns along the Lagos boundary.

 

 

One Deyemi Saka had claimed that terrorists were planning to attack parts of the state, including LASU-Iyana Iba, Mile 12 – Ikorodu, Iyana Ipaja, Sango/Toll gate, Maza Maza, Fun Park at Alausa, Shoprite in Ikeja, Third Mainland Bridge, Police College, Alausa, Maryland Shopping Complex, local wings of Murtala International Airport and others.

He also said terrorists were targeting some churches.

Reacting, the Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin tagged the report as mere speculation but promised that the police were always ready to avert any crisis.
