Lagos State Police Command have confirmed the rescue of a corps member, Faith Onyiwara, who was kidnapped around Ilamija, in the Epe area of Lagos State
According to a statement by the command, the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, coordinated the rescue Operation of Faith Onyiwara and no ransom was paid.

Chinwe was rescued at about 2.20 am today in a swamp forest around Ilamija Nla in Epe after a gun battle.
According to reports, Faith was abducted on her way to attend her CDS meeting with her abductors initially demanding a ransom of fifty million naira before it was later reduced it to four hundred thousand naira.
