Police Shot at Me, Nearly Wrecked My Car in Lagos – Music Producer Adey

Afrobeats producer, Adegboyega Ikwue Ogunlesi, better known as Adey, has alleged that he was shot at by Nigerian police officers during an encounter in Lagos.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Adey claimed the officers accused him of attempting to kill them on the highway, while also nearly causing damage to his car by grabbing the steering wheel and steering him into a ditch.

In a post on X, he wrote, “Nigerian police shot at me today, claimed I tried to kill them, and almost totaled my car by grabbing the steering wheel and driving me into a ditch. No wahala.”

Expressing his frustration, Adey lamented the ongoing police brutality in the country and his growing exhaustion with Nigeria. The Lagos State Police Command has not yet responded to the allegations.

Meanwhile, the Kano State government has revoked the operating license of actress Samha M. Inuwa for indecent dressing and sharing vulgar content. The government also issued a ban on any films featuring her for the next 12 months.

In a statement from the Kano State Censorship Board, spokesperson Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman explained that the actress had been repeatedly warned about her “crude dressing and vulgar displays” but had continued to violate the Board’s regulations. The decision follows several complaints from citizens about her behavior.
