The Lagos State Police Command has said an autopsy will be conducted on the remains of Aribemchukwu, the slain daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia.
Reports from Eko Hot Blog revealed that Aribemchukwu, known as Chuchu, was found dead outside the gate of her Parkview Estate home in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Her body was discovered on Wednesday morning, despite being killed the previous night.
Three domestic staff members—a house help, a security guard, and a driver—have been taken into custody in connection with the murder.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that investigations, including a post-mortem examination, are underway.
“The police are planning to conduct an autopsy on her as part of the ongoing investigations and this will be done very soon,” Hundeyin stated.

He emphasized that, at this stage, no other suspects have been identified beyond the three arrested.
The police spokesperson also noted that the suspects might face charges of conspiracy and murder once the investigation concludes.
“Investigation is ongoing, so the suspects are still in police custody. Once the investigation is concluded, they will be charged in court. They may be charged with conspiracy and murder,” Hundeyin said.
Additionally, Hundeyin mentioned that the investigation would also examine whether a CCTV camera was present at the residence.
“Whether the CCTV camera was available in the apartment or not will be revealed as soon as the investigation is concluded,” he added.
A police source indicated that the suspects admitted to the crime during questioning.
The source further revealed that Aribemchukwu was killed in her room and her body was later dragged outside the gate where it was found. Despite their efforts to clean the scene, the suspects left some blood stains, as the murder occurred at night.
