Poly Rector Gets NSE Professional Board Appointment

  • Dr Dayo Oladebeye, Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, has been appointed into the Professional Development Board (PDB) of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

This is contained in a statement issued by the Polytechnic’s Director of Protocols, Information and Public Relations, Mr Ade Adeyemi-Adejolu, in Ado-Ekiti on Monday.

According to the statement, Oladebeye’s new appointment is contained in the latest in-house publication of the NSE Office in Abuja.

Oladebeye is a registered mechanical engineer of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

The statement added that the PDB is the training arm of NSE, which is responsible for the continuing professional development of engineers under the purview of the National Executive of NSE in Abuja.

It added that Oladebeye would bring his experience to bear in support of the society.

“The institution has a strong belief in his ability to deliver on the responsibilities that go with the position,’’ the statement read in part.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the board oversees membership registration, workshops, examinations and the overall professional development of NSE registered engineers.
