Popular Actress Dies After Recovering From COVID-19

 

One of Britain’s most famous actresses, Barbara Shelley, referred to as the icon of early horror films and hailed as the ‘technicolor queen of Hammer’ has passed away at age 88.

Her Personal assistant, Thomas Bowington, corroborated the information on Monday, saying that while she had contracted Covid-19 in a hospital, she was feeling better, EKO HOT BLOG   gathered.

 

He said, “She was truly Hammer’s first woman and Hammer’s technicolor queen. On the screen, she might be a devil.  She did a show with the RSC. She was not killed by COVID-19, she had underlying problems.”

As reported by Bowington, Shelley went to the hospital because she had a muscle check-up During this process, she contracted COVID-19.

He further stated, “But then she got infected and went to the hospital on her own for two weeks before Christmas. The death certificate will most likely include COVID-19..”

Shelley was featured in the Hammer horror movies of the 1950s and 1960s including The Gorgon, opposite Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee; Dracula, Prince Of Darkness and Rasputin.
