Popular Global Gospel Concert, ‘The Experience’ Returns To Lagos Stadium

Popular Gospel Concert gathering millions of audience, ‘The Experience’ makes a dramatic comeback to a physical gathering.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the annual gospel concert, The Experience, is returning to a physical event after two years.

Organised by House On The Rock, The Experience was held virtually and hybrid consecutively in previous years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

As an annual event, the concert will be held at the Tafawa Balewa Sqaure this year making it a much-anticipated physical programme.

This year’s edition scheduled to hold on December 2 is themed “Jesus: The Exceptional One” with frontline international Gospel artistes to minister.

“…one of the most remarkable things about this much-awaited event is its ability to bring together a cross section of people through musicin absolute surrender to their maker giving no thought to age, gender, race, status or religious inclination.”

“Nothing beats the sound of drums, the feel of worship, the excitement of the crowd, the heartfelt expression of love and adoration to the God who inhabits the praises of His people,” House On The Rock said in a release.

Gospel ministers expected at this 17th edition include: Donnie McClurkin, Nathaniel Bassey, Chandler Moore, Dunsin Oyekan, Phil Thompson,  Travis Greene, Sinach, Tope Alabi, Mercy Chinwo, Onos Ariyo, Preye Odede, Muyiwa Olarewaju, Mr. M & Revelation, Tim Hughes, Eno Micheals, Eben and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir of the House On The Rock and many others.

In the words of Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the Founder of House On The Rock and convener of The Experience, the night promises to be a time of intense worship, praises, and prayers in the presence of God.

“It is noteworthy to state that whilst attendance at The Experience 2022 is free, it is important that attendees arrive promptly so that they can fully enjoy what promises to be an enthralling evening of live music comparable to the best concerts on the globe,” he added.

The church declared this year’s event to be a free concert with hospitality and maximum security to allow attendees to focus on praying for the nation as well as worshipping God in their own space.
