Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has called out former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua for a boxing match in exchange for N100 million, Eko Hot Blog reports.

In a recent video posted on his Instagram page, Portable declared his disinterest in a previously planned celebrity boxing match with fellow artiste Speed Darlington, instead setting his sights on a more high-profile opponent.

“I’m not fighting Speed Darlington again; I want Anthony Joshua with 100m,” Portable declared in the viral clip.

He insinuated that Speed Darlington was leveraging the bout to promote his upcoming show in April.

Portable went on to assert his dominance in the music industry, claiming to be more influential than his would-be opponent.

Speed Darlington, who was recently released from Kuje Prison after allegedly defaming Afrobeat star Burna Boy, has been busy training for the now-cancelled match, even going so far as to purchase a coffin before heading to the gym — a move interpreted by many as a taunt aimed at Portable.

The boxing event was originally scheduled for April 18, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Center in Lagos State, but Portable’s withdrawal has effectively put an end to the much-hyped showdown between the two entertainers.
