According to a statement from the police, the incident happened on February 5, 2025, around 10:00 a.m. The officials were from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development and were conducting an inspection at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.
During the inspection, the officials met an elderly man, later identified as Portable’s father, at Odogwu Bar, a property linked to the singer. The officials asked to see the building’s approved plan, but Portable’s father said his son wasn’t around.
Soon after, Portable showed up, carrying a gun and leading a group of nine thugs. They attacked the unarmed officials, injuring them. The officials managed to escape and reported the incident to the police. While nine of Portable’s associates were arrested, Portable ran away and has been hiding ever since.
The police sent multiple invitations to Portable, asking him to come to the police station, but he ignored them. As a result, the police got a court order declaring him wanted.
The police are asking the public to help find him. Anyone who knows where he is or helps him hide could face legal consequences.
