Manchester City will be going into this weekend’s fixtures against Crystal Palace with a 6 point lead ahead of Liverpool who has double fixtures against Brighton this weekend

EKO HOT BLOG reports that it’s going to be an unpredictable weekend in the English Premier League as the lower clubs continue to fight for survival while the race for top 4 and the title is pretty much alive.

Liverpool and Mancity will be looking to continue their winning streak as every fixture is very crucial to each club, knowing what is at stake.

Manchester City will be going into this weekend’s fixtures against Crystal Palace with a 6 point lead ahead of Liverpool who has double fixtures against Brighton this weekend and Arsenal in midweek which can take them to 3points behind City.

The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham will continue their top 4 fight as Arsenal will be hosting Leicester City, while Manchester United and Tottenham will be facing off each other in what is a crucial match for both team’s chance of making the Champions League football next season.

Below are the Premier League Week 29 full fixtures and predictions

1. Brighton vs Liverpool

Even though Liverpool qualified for the Quarter Finals, it was a disappointing performance in the second leg against Inter Milan. Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from it and Brighton might as well become their victim.

Brighton is currently on a 4 game losing streak and their chances against the Merseyside Red look rather bleak. It should be a one-sided victory for Liverpool even though they’ll be on the away side.

2. Brentford vs Burnley

After a dream starts to their Premier League campaign, Brentford has taken their foot off the gas as they currently sit in 15th place of the Premier League Table. In their last game, they finally managed to pull off a victory after 7 games.

Burnley is also coming off a beat down from Chelsea. We can see how Brentford might win again but Burnley will also be eager to get out of the relegation zone.

3. Man United vs Tottenham

Probably the most exciting game this weekend, Manchester United face Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

In their last games, Manchester United lost 4-1 in the Manchester Derby. Whereas, Tottenham showed one of their best performances this season scoring 5 past Everton.

If the teams play how they played their last fixture, this should be an easy victory for Tottenham. But we know that might not be the case at all. However, we still think Tottenham might clinch a close victory at Old Trafford.

4. Chelsea vs Newcastle United

Newcastle United has looked good in their last few fixtures as they are on their own little unbeaten run after staying at the bottom of the table for so long.

Chelsea will be looking not to slip down any further from the top spot, and they’ll do everything to get all three points at Stamford Bridge.

5. Leeds United vs Norwich City

It’s almost certain that Norwich City could get relegated to the 2nd Division at the end of this season, and Leeds United are fighting away from the relegation zone. This fixture is exactly what Leeds need to win to further the distance from the relegation zone.

6. Everton vs Wolves

Everton has been amongst the biggest disappointments this season as they are currently placed one position above the relegation zone. Everton being at the risk of relegation was almost unimaginable.

Whereas Wolves has been amongst the best teams in Premier League this season, placed at 8th position. They will look forward to causing an upset and entering the top 6 this season.

7. West Ham vs Aston Villa

This could also turn out to be one of the best fixtures next week. Both the teams have been really good this season. The only negative remark about Aston Villa would be their inconsistency throughout.

We expect David Moyes’ men to maintain the pursuit for a top 4 finish with a win over Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa this weekend.

8. Southampton vs Watford

We expected a better return to the Premier League from Watford this season, currently placed at the 19th spot. Southampton has been decent as always, being amongst the top 10 in the Premier League.

Southampton really shouldn’t let this game slip as they are already coming off a loss against Aston Villa. We predict the game ending in a draw.

9. Arsenal vs Leicester City

Arsenal and Leicester City had different starts to their Premier League campaign, where Leicester was being considered good and Arsenal the opposite.

As the season played out Arsenal brilliantly made their way back into the top 4 with 3 games in hand. Leicester City slowly slipped out of the top 10.

Leicester should be travelling to London in hopes of a victory, however, we feel Mikel Arteta’s men have a better momentum going into this game having their last 4 premier league games in a row.

10. Crystal Palace vs. Man City

Manchester City is still the favourite to win the Premier League this season, once again. They go to Crystal Palace’s home ground intending to further increase their lead in the Premier League table.

Crystal Palace has looked good in the last few games but will they be enough to stop Guardiola’s men? We don’t think so.
