Presidency Declares Monday Work-Free Day To Mark Eid-ul-Mawlud

The presidency has declared Monday a work-free day to celebrate Eid-ul-Mawlud, the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

The Director Press and Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior, Mohammed Manga, disclosed this to newsmen in a press statement in Abuja on Thursday.

Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, congratulated Muslims faithfuls on the occasion and enjoined them to live within the virtues and teachings of the Prophet.

The minister expressed optimism that Nigeria would soon overcome the challenges facing her and joined the league of other developed nations.

He said “With love, commitment, self-sacrifice, patience and patriotism, we will certainly, build a greater Nigeria.”
