President Buhari Approves Timetable For APC Congresses

• The President approved Ward Congresses to be held on 24th July, 2021, Local Government Congresses on 14th August, 2021 and State Congresses on 18th September, 2021

President Muhammadu Buhari, has on Friday, approved the review of the timetable for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Congresses.

The President received the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) at the State House, Abuja.

He endorsed the Progress Report, the schedule of outstanding activities with regards to Congresses, the National Convention and the forthcoming Anambra Governorship election.

The President approved Ward Congresses to be held on 24th July, 2021, Local Government Congresses on 14th August, 2021 and State Congresses on 18th September, 2021.

CECPC National Chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni led the delegation to the Presidential Villa.

Buni was accompanied by members, including Osun Governor Isiaka Oyetola, Niger Governor Sani Bello, Sen. Ken Nnamani, Sen. Abubakar Yusuf, Hon. Akinyemi Olaide.

Others were Mrs. Stella Oketete, Dr. James Lulu, Chief David Lyon, Abba Ali, Prof. Tahir Mamman, Barr. Ismaeel Ahmed and National Secretary, Sen. John Akpan Udoedehe.
