An appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Chidi Izuwah, has been pronounced dead.
Before his demise, Mr. Izuwah was the director-general of Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC).
EKOHOTBLOG gathered that he died on Tuesday, March 16 after a protracted illness which he had been receiving treatment for in South Africa since 2020.

The ICRC also confirmed the death of its director-general via its official Twitter page on the same day. President Buhari stated that the deceased performed creditably as an appointee of the government while he was alive.
The ICRC tweeted: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our DG/CEO Engr Chidi KC Izuwah. May his soul rest in perfect peace Amen.” quarter.”
Also, Danlami Adaritgo wrote: “My condolence to all. It is a great loss!! I have fond memories of him, RIP Oga Chidi.”
In 2019, the senate confirmed Izuwah’s appointment as ICRC chairman after President Muhammadu Buhari nominated him for the position.
