President Muhammadu Buhari Seeks Stronger Ties To End Terrorism

President Muhammadu Buhari called for stronger international ties to combat terrorism, especially in the Sub-Saharan and Sahel regions, yesterday, Eko hot blog gathered.
He made the call while speaking on the phone with Mahamadou Issoufou, President of the Niger Republic, to express his condolences to him and the citizens of the neighboring country following the recent massacre of 137 people.
According to a statement released by Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu, the terrorist attacks were “heinous.”

Buhari and Issoufou pledged to reinforce sub-regional security as a means of countering Boko Haram and Islam in West Africa, as well as ISWA’s troubling assertiveness in the sub-Saharan and Sahel areas.
