Presidential tribunal: Governor Wike Finally Congratulates Buhari Over Tribunal Victory 

 The Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday, September 11, finally congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his victory against the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, at the election tribunal.

Wike, the coordinator of the Atiku’s campaign in the south-south during to 2019 presidential election, in a press statement signed by his media aide, Simeon Nwakaudu, enjoined the president to use his victory to work for Nigeria’s unity.

The governor in his congratulatory message also stated that the president should unite all Nigerians irrespective of his political standing.

In the statement : “Governor Wike called on the President to work towards the unity of the country, noting that the country is divided.”
