Ekohotblog reports that Hon Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, Chairman of Epe Local Government, solidified her bid for a second term as she engaged key community leaders in a discussion on the 2025 budget.
During the meeting, held to ensure community participation in the government’s spending plans, Princess Surah received resounding support for her leadership and achievements in her first term.
The gathering, aimed at ensuring public input on the government’s spending, attracted community leaders, youth groups, and other prominent stakeholders.
During the meeting, Princess Surah presented her vision for the upcoming budget, stressing the importance of aligning it with the needs of the people.
“We want to make sure that the needs of the people are reflected in our budget. Your voices matter, and together we can build a better Epe,” she stated.
Speaking at the event, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, expressed his support for Princess Surah’s second term, praising her achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.
“Princess Surah Animashaun has done a great job in her first term. She listens to the people and brings real development to Epe. I fully support her for a second term to continue the good work,” Ikuforiji said, earning applause from the audience.
