Speaking to Eko Hot Blog, Professor Obafunwa emphasized the importance of the inaugural Presidential Gala as a platform for community engagement, dialogue, and collective strategizing for the community’s progress.
He highlighted the reasons for involving the youths in activities that contribute positively to the community, stressing the need to inspire them with exemplary leadership.
“The core idea is to set good examples for our youth to follow,” he stated.
Professor Obafunwa also pledged to increase his involvement in community affairs, expressing his commitment to serving as a role model for the younger generation.
“It is my responsibility to actively engage with the community and demonstrate the values and behaviors we wish to see in our youth,” he concluded.
