  • Advises Akpabio to engage with Northern elites and honor promises.
  • Calls for unity and hope for Nigeria’s future amid challenges.

Prophet Joshua Iginla of the Champion Royal Assembly has warned of potential challenges ahead, including a possible medical emergency for President Tinubu and strong resistance against Senate President Godswill Akpabio from Northern powers.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that he also advised Akpabio to work peacefully with Northern elites to honor promises made in secret.

Iginla cautioned the government against ignoring the views of Northern Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of finding common ground for peaceful resolution. Additionally, he urged the FCT minister to prioritize his health in order to effectively carry out his duties.

He shared these insights in his 2025 prophecy, which he said God gave to him during his New Year’s message at the crossover service held in his church in Abuja.

He said: “President Tinubu must pay attention to his health and get adequate rest so that the enemy does not take advantage of his condition. I saw a medical emergency, and we pray that it does not happen. It’s crucial that he takes care of his health. There will be a strong opposition against him, and the drama will unfold like never before, leading to significant betrayal.

“For Senate President Godswill Akpabio, he will face considerable resistance from powerful Northern forces. They are likely to push for a vote of no confidence or impeachment process against him. He must engage in careful politics with Northern leaders. As I mentioned to the President, there will be a coalition against him. Akpabio must work strategically with the Northern elites to honor promises made in private, as failure to do so will create more challenges in the Senate.

“The situation with the Senate President is ongoing, as the Northern senators and governors have made their intentions clear. The tax reform bill is at the heart of the issue, along with other matters that I prefer not to mention publicly.

“I want to emphasize that the government should not ignore the views of the North. It is crucial to find common ground and avoid unnecessary conflict. The government must avoid thinking it has all the power and can act unilaterally, as this could lead to political surprises.

“As for the FCT minister, he must pray for his health, as he will be responsible for significant projects and reform in the city. However, his health must be a priority. It is only the living who can carry out political mandates and make progress.

“There are also challenges ahead for Fubara, the Rivers State Governor. He will grow stronger but will face even more overwhelming challenges, though nothing major will change for him.

Speaking further, Iginla acknowledged the difficulties faced by citizens in 2024 but expressed optimism for Nigeria’s future. He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and support the government, despite the country’s challenges.

He emphasized the need for the government to address the immediate needs of its citizens, particularly in food and education, while working on long-term plans for economic growth.

He also commended the government’s efforts to boost the economy, citing the success of the Warri Refinery and the upcoming Dangote Refinery.

“Nigeria experienced many ups and downs in 2024. I don’t want to rush to conclusions about the new regime. We must remain hopeful, trusting that there are plans and policies to improve Nigeria. But as a pastor, I have never seen the pressure I have faced this past year. Citizens are struggling with hunger and paying school fees. Life is tough for ordinary Nigerians.

“I believe the government must do its best to ensure that, while long-term economic plans are in place, short-term measures are implemented to address the immediate needs of the people. I’m optimistic about the future.

“God showed me that Nigeria will get better. We have no other home but Nigeria. We must support the government and give them the four years needed to implement their plans. I’m hopeful for a turnaround, especially with the success of the Warri Refinery and the forthcoming Dangote Refinery.

“I have been serving for over 30 years. I came from a Muslim background before converting to Christianity. I’m not seeking popularity; I just share God’s messages as they are revealed to me.

“On insecurity and terrorism, I emphasize the need for prayer. Nigeria’s greatest problem is that many politicians treat the lives of Nigerians as a political tool. We must avoid returning to the days of total darkness because some people want to score political points.

“The government must tread carefully and address the concerns of the aggrieved. It’s crucial to find a common ground for resolving issues instead of ignoring them.

“My message to Nigerians is to remain hopeful and positive. Despite the challenges, there is no place like home. We must believe in our leaders, speak truth to them respectfully, and support the government in any way we can. Nigeria is our home, and we must build it ourselves.

“Even though many Nigerians travel abroad or seek better opportunities elsewhere, there’s no place like Nigeria. We must come together to support one another and build a better future for our country.

“Let’s remain hopeful, for surely there will be light at the end of the tunnel.”
