Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month
Job Brief:
Our client, a prominent player in the Real Estate sector, is looking to hire a motivated and result-oriented Estate Manager. This role involves overseeing the management and supervision of maintenance, gardening, and domestic teams to ensure high standards of productivity, efficiency, quality, and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the maintenance, gardening, and domestic teams on the estate, ensuring adherence to required standards and compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular checks and assessments related to maintenance, health, safety, and security. Liaise with the Line Manager to ensure jobs are performed as required.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the estate, including routine domestic duties and general cleanliness.
- Manage the safety and security of the estate, including key holder duties and coordination with the security team.
- Provide expert advice on estate management and implement an annual maintenance program to maintain the estate to high standards.
- Ensure essential repairs and replacements are executed as part of the maintenance program.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to estate management activities and report issues to the Line Manager.
- Meet targets and contribute to the overall efficiency of the estate team.
- Supervise and direct the performance of the estate team, setting an example of commitment and work ethic.
- Manage resources responsibly and control expenses to operate within budgetary limits.
- Act as a property manager, resolving issues with properties and representing sellers in negotiations with prospective buyers.
- Vet prospective tenants by collecting references and performing credit checks, ensuring properties meet legal and safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or Public Administration.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Estate Manager.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and management capabilities.
- Proficient in spreadsheets and calculation software for payroll, schedules, and space management.
