Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reportedly decided to abandon their pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer. According to French publication *L’Equipe*, PSG shifted their focus after securing the signing of Desire Doue from Rennes.
With Goncalo Ramos currently sidelined due to injury, PSG manager Luis Enrique is expected to rely on Randal Kolo Muani as the team’s primary attacking option.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that in the meantime, PSG has turned its attention to Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman as a potential new signing. Reports suggest that the Ligue 1 champions have presented Lookman with a lucrative contract offer, significantly increasing his salary from €1.8 million to €4.5 million per season.
Lookman, who has expressed his desire to be excluded from Atalanta’s match against Lecce, is reportedly eager to make the move to PSG.
Despite the strong interest and discussions with Lookman’s representatives, PSG has yet to initiate direct talks with Atalanta or submit a formal bid.
Atalanta is believed to be seeking a transfer fee in the region of €40 million for the former Fulham player, meaning that Lookman’s move to PSG largely depends on Atalanta’s willingness to negotiate a deal.
