EKO HOT BLOG reports that Kylian Mbappe, the talented forward of Paris Saint-Germain, has strongly denied requesting a departure from the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.
He refuted claims that he had expressed his desire to leave PSG and attributed the leaked letter, which he sent to the Ligue 1 champions, as an attempt to tarnish his reputation.
Mbappe took to Twitter on Tuesday to address the ongoing reports suggesting his interest in joining Real Madrid. He unequivocally labeled these reports as “lies” and emphasized his contentment with his current club, Paris Saint-Germain.
News emerged on Monday that Mbappe had written a letter to PSG, informing them that he would not be activating the clause in his existing contract that would extend his stay until the summer of 2025. Consequently, this decision positions him to become a free agent at the end of the upcoming season.
In a recent statement, Mbappe clarified that PSG had been aware of his decision for nearly a year. He further explained that the purpose of the letter was simply to formalize what had already been discussed between the parties involved.
