Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) has announced plans to collaborate with the Ministry of Information and Strategy for the celebration of its 30th anniversary, set for October 6, 2024.
This partnership recognizes the Ministry’s crucial role in disseminating information throughout the state.
During a courtesy visit to the Ministry at Alausa, PSSDC’s Director-General, Mr Adekunmilola Adio-Moses, shared that the primary aim of the meeting was to inform the Ministry about the upcoming anniversary and to seek its collaboration for a successful celebration.
He said, “We are here to formally bring to your notice that PSSDC will be celebrating 30 years of amazing growth, development and partnership, so we want to showcase our success story in this regard.
We appreciate that the Ministry is like a home to us and we must acknowledge the numerous support PSSDC has received from the leadership over the years.”
The Director-General revealed that an official event is slated for Friday, October 4, 2024, where Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is expected to attend and commission several capacity-building projects.

He further stated, “We know the Lagos State Government has a robust social media platform and we request the Ministry’s support to project our programmes across these platforms.
Furthermore, we request your professional video and photo coverage and features in *Alausa Alert* so that PSSDC would be known across Lagos and beyond.”
Among the projects to be commissioned by Governor Sanwo-Olu are a Virtual Learning Management System called EKO LEARNS, a digitised studio, a book of poems on MDAs, and a multi-purpose sports hub.
“We have also set up a whole block of nine classrooms equipped with 300 computers for the CBT Test.
Therefore, we have set ourselves up to deliver top-notch service and generate revenue for the Lagos State Government.
Our primary aim is to train Public Servants on Grade Levels 12 and below. However, we also have a consulting arm that offers these services to the public,” Adio-Moses added.
