Pupils Act Anti-Crime Skits in Lagos As Sanwo-Olu’s ‘Snacks For Thought’ Initiative Reach Fourth Day

Pupils Across Lagos Island today started acting anti-crime skits as Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s school feeding initiative, ‘Snacks For Thought’, reached its fourth day.

The initiative designed by the Princess Remi Adebowale-led Office of Civic Engagement kicked off on Monday.

The goal, according to Princess Adebowale who is the Special Adviser to the Governor on Civic Engagement is to help pupils concentrate better in class, stay in school, and avoid a life of crime.

Present at the kickoff of the acting were Special Adviser on Civic Engagement, Princess Remi Adebowale, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mr. Idris Aregbe, Local Government Chairman of Lagos Island LCDA, Mr. Tijani Olusi, among others.

The pupils took turns creating scenarios and what they would do in situations where their brothers and sisters were discovered to be moving with bad company.

The goal, according to Princess Adebowale, is to imbibe in them a culture of looking out for their siblings and friends to ensure that they stay in school and avoid a life of crime.

Since the ‘Snacks for Thought’ feeding program started on Monday, there has been a well of support from celebrities like actor, Taiwo Hassan, known as Ogogo, comedians Woli Arole and Asiri among others.
