Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of Russia’s State Duma and a close ally of President Vladimir Putin, has made startling accusations against NATO, claiming the alliance is directly involved in military action in Ukraine.
Volodin asserts that NATO is helping Ukraine choose Russian cities to target, agreeing on specific military actions, and giving orders to Kyiv.
In a statement on his official Telegram channel, Volodin alleged that the US, Germany, Britain, and France are discussing the possibility of Ukraine using long-range weapons to strike Russian territory.
He believes this is an attempt to conceal their direct participation in military action and give themselves permission to carry out acts of aggression against Russia.

Volodin also claimed that NATO advisers, instructors, mercenaries, and entire units armed with NATO weaponry are now operating in Ukraine.
He accused NATO personnel of determining which Russian cities to attack, coordinating military actions, and giving orders, effectively making NATO a participant in the war.
Reuters was unable to independently confirm Volodin’s assertions.
However, his statements come a day after Putin warned that allowing Ukraine to strike Russian territory with Western-made long-range missiles would alter the nature of the conflict and lead to direct fighting with Russia.
