EKO HOT BLOG reports that the head of Britain’s Armed Forces, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, has said that a humiliated Vladimir Putin is running out of missiles in a desperate bid to defeat Ukraine.

Admiral Sir Tony Radakin claimed that the Russian president may be running out of weapons because he fired more than expected at the brave Ukrainians.

Sir Tony Radakin told Talk Tv that Russia has now lost 25 percent of all its forces in Ukraine.

It comes after reports that senior figures in the Russian military and security services have grown increasingly frustrated with the sickly tyrant’s handling of the deadly war.

Sir Tony believes that Putin underestimated Ukraine before ordering the initial Russian offensive.

He told TalkTV: “He potentially has a problem, because the rate of spending and the toughness of the fight is totally different than what he perceived on February 24.

“I think there are several wars going on. There is a tactical and geographical war in Ukraine. There is a logistics war going on, in terms of how to maintain that rate of spending.

“We are talking about a severe impact on their armed forces. We’ve had 25% of his forces effectively eliminated, either by killing people or by damaging his battalion’s tactical groups.”

And after the Russian invasion stalled in recent weeks, Sir Tony argued that Putin is under “incredible pressure” to achieve victory in the Donbass region.

He said: “I think what we are seeing now is incredible pressure, political pressure and military pressure, for a victory.

“And I think we have to wait and see whether or not we do it in such a rushed way against the Ukrainian armed forces who are fighting for their country.”

“And that should encourage all of us on how this is going to be a tough fight. It’s going to be hard work.”

“You’re looking at the tactical fight, where he’s trying to rush to a tactical win, and then he’ll push that with his own people.”

The Admiral went on to give his assessment on some domestic issues, stating that the “impact of inflation” may lead to further cuts in defense

He said this was problematic at a time when “there might be” a need to increase defense spending.

Sir Tony said: “That’s a conversation we need to have in a much broader way. A take stock of what is the impact of this? What is the impact of Russia’s aggression?”

“And then if you ask me as a selfish military officer, could we provide more to the nation in terms of its security with additional expense? So of course that’s something I would appreciate.”
