Eko Hot Blog reports that the chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Akogun Wale Anomo, distributed brush cutters to all 17 Primary Schools within the LCDA.
It was dedicated to the improvement of educational efficiency and creation of conducive learning environment for the staff and pupils within the LCDA.
Addressing the gathering, Anomo emphasized that the distribution of these essential tools stems from his commitment to delivering quality education to the pupils.
“The distribution of these essential tools stems from my commitment to delivering quality education to the pupils,” he said.
He highlighted the changing dynamics, noting that today’s Pupils lack the physical vigor for manual bush clearing compared to the past, and stating the benefits of the equipment.
“Unlike previous times, pupils of today lack the stamina, the physical vigor to clear bushes. This is something they are not brought up with or used to. So making them do that now won’t be productive.
“The introduction of these brush cutters aims to convert time previously spent on clearing bushes into productive teaching and learning hours without belaboring the young ones,” he added.
The Secretary, Epe LGEA, Otunba SAICO, impressed by Anomo’s ongoing dedication to education in the LCDA, commended the initiative and its potential impact.
“Investing in efficient learning environments and tools directly translates to enhance educational outcomes for our children,” he emphasized, urging head teachers to leverage the equipment effectively and maximize its benefit for students.
Head teacher Mr. Odumeru of LG Primary School Ikosi-Ejinrin Beach expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of all schools, recognizing Anomo’s consistent efforts to prioritize education.
He pledged, along with his colleagues, to utilize the brush cutters responsibly and continue delivering their best in creating a vibrant and successful learning experience for their students.

Hassan Mustapha; other Councillors and Supervisors; Council’s Head of Administration, Mr. Sunday Awobajo; Aladebute of Itoikin, High Chief Francis Adegboyega Raji; The Aro of Agbowa, High-Chief Shakiru Odufowora; Baale Sekungba; and the Baale of Lago Community. Executive Secretary of Epe Local Government Education Authority, Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu, and all the Headteachers from the 17 Primary Schools who received the equipment.
