Ramadan 2021: Hon Abiodun Tobun Preaches Forgiveness, Peace and Love

• Restates commitment to road infrastructure in Epe

Lawmaker representing Epe at the house Lagos state house of assembly, Hon Abiodun Tobun, has admonished Muslims and Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the high values and virtues of love and peace.

Tobun’s admonition was contained in Ramadan Message.

He implored Nigerians to be steadfast in prayer and promote peace.

He said ” I wish Muslim faithful in my Community, Epe, Lagos, Nigeria and all over the world the best of luck. This is the Ramadan period, it is the period of forgiveness, we should forgive ourselves. It is a period of peace, we should encourage peace. It is a period of togetherness, we should show love.

This is the period where prayers are answered, we need to be steadfast in prayers for the development of this community of ours, Epe, Lagos State and the Nation so that evil doesn’t befall us”

He, therefore, sent best wishes to all and prayed they witness many more of the Holy month of Ramadan in the land of the living.

In another development, the cerebral Lawmaker restated his commitment towards embarking on infrastructural projects to bridge the gap of infrastructure deficits in his constituency. This was in reaction to the newly reconstructed Idi-Aba to Ita-Opo link road which he facilitated in conjunction with Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC).

Speaking with Ekohotblog on Wednesday 14th April 2021, on the sidelines of his Free UTME/JAMB Exercise in Epe, The Idi-Aba road, he said, had several failed sections due to wear and tear from use and it was pertinent he fixed it for the overall benefit of his constituents.

” What we’re doing in terms of road infrastructure is just to ensure our community is better. The Ita-Opo to Araromi road used to be a route but at a certain time, it has broken down, So, I feel we need to do something without being told. We’re determined to serve our people and that’s why we’re voted in. We shall not rest on our oars until we get the best for our community. We must live a legacy that when we’re no more there, we would have done our bit and it will be on record”, he stated.

The thankful Lawmaker hoping to clinch a fourth term in office was full of praises for his constituents for voting him for 3 terms at the Lagos State House of Assembly. He also revealed other road projects in the pipeline for his constituents.

” Plans have been concluded to fix Ayotunde Seriki and Oba Animashaun Streets, that place has been cut off and abandoned. Mogaji Street and others have also been cut off in Erepoto, those areas are an eyesore. Adewole Adesanya Street in Shade and Olubote Street in NITEL will also be fixed”, the Lawmaker stated.
