Ramadan: Observe Taraweeh Prayers At Home, Lagos Urges Muslims
The Lagos State Government has urged Muslim faithful across the State to observe their daily Taraweeh Prayers at home during the Ramadan fast as advised by Islamic Clerics and in compliance with the lockdown directive of the government.
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos on Friday, the Honourable Commissioner for Home Affairs, Prince Anofiu Elegushi, urged all Muslims to perform all their prayers at home in order to fully comply with the social distancing order of the State Government.

While wishing all Muslims in the State Ramadan Kareem, Prince Elegushi urged them to seize the opportunity of the Holy Month to pray for God’s mercies on Lagos State and Nigeria.
He maintained that with the various measures put in place by the Federal and State Governments to curb the spread of the Coronavirus disease, success will soon be achieved.
