Nollywood Actor, Baba Ijesha, will be arraigned at an Ikeja special offences court on Thursday on the grounds of sexual assault against him.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that the trial of the movie star will take place before Oluwatoyin Taiwo, the judge, as the case is among the issues listed for the day’s session.
Baba Ijesha was apprehended and placed under detention by the Lagos police after he was alleged to have sexually molested a 14-year-old girl, who is a foster child to Comedian Princess.

Despite being granted bail, he has remained in detention since then over his inability to meet the required conditions.
The development came days after a magistrate court sitting in Lagos quashed his bail application on the ground that the matter was already beyond its jurisdiction.
“I have carefully considered the application of the counsel to the defendant seeking bail for the defendant and the opposition by the counsel from the DPP,” P.E Nwaka, the judge, had ruled last Wednesday.
“Since there are indications that the matter is before the high court and the defendant will appear before the court, no bail can be given. The defendant must be accorded full medical attention by the authorities pending his arraignment at the High Court.”
